I leave in 3 days! My how these past couple weeks have snuck up on me. Mom and I have been preparing all week, shopping for host family presents and the perfect hiking socks, and I think I am ready to go! Here is a brief itinerary of my trip (April 26 - June 28)
Week 1: Stay at youth hostel and take 4 day trek to Machu Pichu on the Inca Trail.
Week 2-5: Stay with host family in Cusco, Peru and take a spanish class.
Week 6-9: Stay with host family in Quito, Ecuador and take another class, hopefully volunteer at the Baca Ortiz Children's Hospital too!
I'm excited to travel and improve my spanish but nervous at the same time to be away from home and loved ones for so long! Keep me in your prayers! :)
